Alpha14 Director Toby Pope was approached by the Owners Corporation at Queen Street to manage several works in their building. These works include rooftop works, the upgrading of passenger lifts, and the renovation of the interior and exterior building façade.

Alpha14 are excited to announce that our progress on the building renovations at Queen Street are well underway!

1, Rooftop Works

The cooling towers on the rooftop have all been replaced. The new fall arrest anchors have been installed, and the waterproofing of the roof has been completed.

2, Passenger Lifts

Passenger lifts are going through a modernization of all motors, equipment, and interiors. All passenger lift doors and sensors have been upgraded. On Lift No. 3, upgrading the interior and main equipment plant is underway. Passenger lift upgrades are well on track.

3, Lobby/External Works

The Town Planning Permit and the endorsed drawings have been received from council for the external façade works and the architectural documentation required for the construction tender has been completed. We are currently waiting on the Owner’s Corporation to advise us on which builder they want to go ahead with the renovation of the building’s lobby and the façade, indicating that refurbishment works are to commence soon!

Progress on the Queen Street Building Works is being completed according to schedule and will be finished at the start of February 2021.
