1. Project Design

2. Planning Phase

During this phase, it is important to assign a project manager and to organise a project management plan. Depending on the type of project manager, sometimes they are hired during the Project Design phase. With a project manager comes a contract administrator, who works closely with the project manager. It is also important to hire a superintendent in this stage to maintain records on the project’s schedule, materials, and equipment. Alpha14 has quality management skills to manage the planning process and engage the necessary consultants.

It is also important to write a thorough project schedule during this phase. This will ensure that any risks that come up during a construction project are eliminated – such as potential delays or lack of communication between stakeholders. An important management tool regarding scheduling are Gantt Charts. Gantt Charts convey an overview of the project and highlight any tasks which have been left undone or which have been completed.

3. Construction Phase

The construction management plan is applied. The construction project manager will have to supervise that the project is being completed to schedule, and that progress is being tracked. 4. Post Construction Phase
